Our natural SPF 50+ sunscreen (clinically tested to SPF 96!) provides broad-spectrum protection against UVA & UVB rays. Made with zinc oxide and nourishing oils, it forms a physical barrier to protect your skin from sunburn and windburn - while being extremely moisturising.
Safe for babies of all ages, sensitive skin, and anyone wanting to reduce exposure to synthetic chemicals, our formula contains only four 100% natural ingredients!
It's water-free which makes it last longer than tube sunscreens you may be used to. It spreads easily, is non-greasy, goes on 100% clear, and leaves your skin nourished and protected.
Housed in an eco-friendly glass jar or aluminium tin, a large size jar lasts all season for most families.
Independently tested to and compliant with AS/NZS Standard 2604:2012 and ISO 24443. Know that you are protected naturally no matter where your adventures take you.
Ingredients: Jojoba Oil, Zinc Oxide, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Organic NZ Beeswax.

Zinc oxide is the only recommended safe broad-spectrum sunscreen that protects against both UVA & UVB rays. It is also the only FDA recommended sunscreen for babies under 6 months of age.
Spreads well, so a little goes a long way. Generally a 75gm jar is enough for a couple using for the season. One large jar will generally last our family the whole season. Preschools can be a little more liberal with application and go through it a little faster.
We also have empty tins for you to use if you'd like to buy a larger size jar, and then fill up your own tins for in the car, in the nappy bag, in the handbag, in the preschool bag, so that you've always got some of our magic wherever the day takes you.
Extra notes:
Make sure to test patch on skin first. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use. Bee products and coconut oil would be the most likely culprits so we'd recommend further allergy testing around these.
The Cancer Society recommendation with any sunscreen is to re-apply every two hours, and after getting out of water due to rub-off.
Becuase zinc oxide forms a physical barrier, not a chemical one, it theoretically works as soon as applied. However legally our label must tell you to wait 20 minutes before going into the sun.
Staying in the shade is however still the most effective method of sun protection for people of all ages.
If you get the sunscreen on your clothing, we recommend using a plain cleaning soap such as our Solid Castile Soap to patch wash.
If you are looking for the sunscreen that used to be called "Regular Sunscreen", we no longer manufacture this one, but the former 'Kawakawa Sunscreen' (now called 'Kawakawa Outdoor Balm') is the same recipe, with the addition of Kawakawa. This makes it skin-healing and mildly insect repelling at the same time. It also uses a more affordable zinc, which can make it a better option for everyday use in the garden, or for sending to preschool.

I love that this is natural and it goes on clear for my face which is awesome, but it dries out the skin on my arms and hands, and sometimes I end up burnt after applying it twice in a day. I'm not sure how it can last as long as people say if you have to apply it more than twice a day to stop getting burnt.
I'm not one to write reviews. But oh my lord, this sunscreen is the best one ever! We live in southland and we went to the beach last Sunday, it was a hot sunny day, not a cloud in sight. My kids and I put sunscreen on, I reapplied it after they came out of the water. I was scared I didn't apply enough sunscreen and I could see my kids face getting a bit red but no sign of sunburnt the day after! I believe they were only a bit red from the heat. I reapplied it on my legs when I start getting red spots. No sign on sunburn either!
Will only buy back to the wild natural sunscreen from now on. Absolutely amazing!
It's my 2nd year buying it for the family, and I always recommend it to my friends because it's a natural option that's kind on the children's skin and doesn't break the bank.
Has been fabulous so far on my 1 year old with occasional eczema
So happy with this sunblock has done wonders for my skin. My partner has actually seen the difference and has started using it also
